Job Summary

As Marketing Manager, you are charged with creating and executing marketing strategies that will increase profit for Ralco’s business.  Working together with the broader marketing team you will plan, develop, execute and measure marketing programs that differentiate and promote our mission, brands and products for competitive advantage.  You must be driven by curiosity and improvement as you work to expand the effectiveness of our marketing communications using various media to reach our target customers. You must be a creative communicator that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on managing multiple projects simultaneously and can actively participate in the creative process.

You must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing as you develop content in support of your marketing programs.  You will partner and work collaboratively with other areas of the business including sales, technical and product management to execute successful marketing programs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible to plan, create and execute marketing programs in support of business strategy from concept to completion. Work will cover a wide range of programs from advertising, promotional campaigns, sales incentives, brand development, product launches, sales literature, loyalty programs, etc.
  • Creating content in support of your marketing programs and collaborating with others on content.
  • Working with graphic designers, advertising companies and other partners to ensure the successful execution of your programs.
  • Work successfully across all marketing communication platforms including web, print, email, social media, video, tradeshow, etc.
  • Establish testing, measurement and tracking for marketing activities and optimize the return on marketing investment.
  • Serve as a brand steward to ensure all communications are clear and cohesive within the brand strategy and positioning.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of all marketing materials and communications.
  • Must be committed to on-going personal development to stay abreast with current marketing approaches and competitive strategies.
  • Develop methods to gain customer feedback and insight to ensure marketing messages and programs and well aligned to customer needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education:  Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Sales or Business Ag related field.
  • Experience:  6+ years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Physical:  The following activities are required as needed to perform the job function; lifting, driving, bending, climbing, carrying and twisting. Confined space entry is not a required job function.
  • Travel:  This position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites.
